Melissa and Martin invite you to join their family for an authentic American Thanksgiving dinner. 

Whether you are an American expat, a curious foodie, or just looking for another excuse to get down to Red Gum BBQ, this is a unique chance to sit down with your loved ones (and ours) for a lavish meal in this intimate setting that is our new private dining room. 

$125 per person gets you a 3 course, traditionally crafted menu including drinks, served in the "Family Room". This is our private dining room, Red Gum BBQ's newest dining offering.

AFL Grand Final Weekend

Look out! Here comes a long weekend! We are fully embracing the spirit of Footy Finals Fever… These are not ticketed event days, however, it’s going to be big, so book your spot online now!

Kicking off, Football Friday -  Join us as we welcome St Kilda Saints players - Darren Minchington, Shane Savage & Dylan Roberton. Come and say hi, join them for lunch. Approx 1.30pm

Grand Final Day Saturday– The ultimate GFD BBQ. We’ll be showing the game on a number of screens and putting on game day specials like a Bucket o’ Wings ‘n’ Beer, not to be missed.

Sunday – Grand Final Day recovery… The perfect end to your long weekend. Sit back, relax and bask in all sorts of delicious fun and feasting.    

This weekend we are proud to be raising money for the Fight Cancer Foundation through Footy Colours Day. Don your team’s colours, scarfs, beanies, caps, jerseys and donate a gold coin.

Fight Cancer Foundation is a national charity dedicated to providing care, treatment and support for cancer patients and their families and funding vital research into cancer treatment and cures. Support services include affordable accommodation for rural and interstate patients accessing major treating hospitals, and education support to young learners undergoing cancer treatment.

Red Gum BBQ Pitmaster Academy - Masterclass Series

Learn the art of low and slow cooking with Pitmaster Martin Goffin of Red Gum BBQ. This BBQ Pitmaster Class is for a small group of aspiring Pitmasters or those simply wanting to take their BBQ to the next level.  He’ll be passing along the many secrets of the trade it has taken him years to learn.

Series includes 3 classes: 

  • THE PIG - Thursday, 14th of September, 2017. 6.30pm
  • THE COW - Thursday, 2nd November, 2017. 6.30pm
  • THE BIRD - Thursday, 14th December, 2017. 6.30pm

$175 per person, per class OR book the entire Series and receive 50% off the 3rd class.

Over 2 hours you’ll learn how to get the cuts you need, how to trim and prepare - rubs, sauces and the rest. We’ll chat about smokers, wood, temperatures and times and learn what you can do to make truly authentic Southern-style BBQ.

The class will be hands and taste buds on - with participants trimming and prepping their own cuts and of course, BBQ feasting with craft beer tastings. You’ll take home some Red Gum BBQ merch and a certificate of completion.

This year, in our new home in Red Hill, the Annual Not So 4th of July Party promises to be bigger than ever!

Watch Pitmaster Martin smoke the whole hog, while listening to some live, toe-tapping, Americana tunes from The Pheasantry

Doors open at 6.30pm for 7.30pm dinner

Tickets are fully inclusive of a mouth-watering feast, revolving around the whole hog.
