Learn the art of low and slow cooking with Pitmaster Martin Goffin of Red Gum BBQ. This BBQ Pitmaster Class is for a small group of aspiring Pitmasters or those simply wanting to take their BBQ to the next level. He’ll be passing along the many secrets of the trade it has taken him years to learn.
Series includes 3 classes:
- THE PIG - Thursday, 14th of September, 2017. 6.30pm
- THE COW - Thursday, 2nd November, 2017. 6.30pm
- THE BIRD - Thursday, 14th December, 2017. 6.30pm
$175 per person, per class OR book the entire Series and receive 50% off the 3rd class.
Over 2 hours you’ll learn how to get the cuts you need, how to trim and prepare - rubs, sauces and the rest. We’ll chat about smokers, wood, temperatures and times and learn what you can do to make truly authentic Southern-style BBQ.
The class will be hands and taste buds on - with participants trimming and prepping their own cuts and of course, BBQ feasting with craft beer tastings. You’ll take home some Red Gum BBQ merch and a certificate of completion.
